Description: NOSKER HABITAT IMPROVEMENT: 600 acres within the 955 acre area will be cut to create a mosaic wildlife opening to improve winter mule deer habitat and reduce hazardous fuels. The project will consist of group selection ?leave island? areas that will be from 1 to 10 acres in size. The cut areas will be from 150 to 250 feet between each leave island of trees. This will require cutting completely around the leave islands to create a mosaic opening pattern. No leave islands will be squared off.
