- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Notice of Intent to Procure Expansion Space Washington, DC The United States Government currently occupies 12,757 BOMA rentable square feet of office and related space in a building under lease in Washington, DC, that expires on January 23, 2010. The Government has a requirement for an additional approximately 41,528 contiguous rentable square feet of office and related space. The total rentable space must yield a minimum of 54,282 contiguous ANSI/BOMA Office area square feet. The delineated area is: ? South on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW ? East on 9th Street, NW ? West on 15th Street, NW ? North on K Street, NW Other requirements applicable to this requirement include: ? Proximity to Metrorail ? Parking (reserved inside spaces for official Government vehicles) ? Security (i.e. lobby, loading dock access, parking, etc.) ? Others The Government is considering whether to expand at the existing location or to relocate to alternative space which can meet the entire space requirement. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government?s entire requirement for a five year term, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, non-productive agency downtime, rent payments on vacant space under the existing lease or cost of buyout, etc. Please send expressions of interest to: Marcia E. Building Ownership Information. ? Amount of parking available on-site and its cost ? include whether expected rental rate includes the cost of the required Government parking (if any). ? List of building services provided. The Government?s decision regarding whether or not to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this advertisement. In the event that a potential offeror fails to provide specific rental rate or other required information as part of its response to this advertisement, the Government reserves the right to assume that the building in question cannot meet the Government?s requirements.
