Description

Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Iowa City Medical Center (VAMC) will issue a solicitation for lodging facilities & transportation for it HOPTEL program. NAICS Code is 721110; Business Size Standard is $6.1 Million. The hotel/motel providing the services must be located within 3 miles radius of the VAMC. Contractor will make available, to the VAMC, approximately 12 rooms per night; and contractor shall be responsible for transporting designated VA patients to and from the VAMC. These rooms would be available each night Sunday through Thursday. On occasion, there may be a need for rooms on Friday or Saturday nights. There will be one-year base period and two year option periods. Proposals are due at VAMC-Iowa City (90C), 601 HWY 6 West, Iowa city, IA 52246, by Close of Business (5 p.m.) on September 17, 2007.
