- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial supplies and/or services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is FD20200768281. The 526th ICBMSW/PKA, Hill AFB, Utah, requires the following items: APC Bypass Switch & APC Symmetra PX Intelligence Module . The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17 effective 15 May 2007, DFAR DCN 20070531, and AFFAR AFAC 20070531. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 335999, All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3629, Electrical Industrial Apparatus, N.E.C.. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: 1. APC Bypass Switch, AC 280V, Symmetra Part Number: AME-SYSW80KF Qty 1 EA. 2. APC Symmetra PX Intelligence Module, Symmetra Part Number: AME-SYMIM4 Qty 2 EA. *Quote shall provide pricing for each individual CLIN. **Please include the cost of shipping to Hill AFB, UT 84056 in your quoted price. This is a sole source acquisition which is approved based upon the following excerpt from the Contracting Officer signed Justification and approval. These are replacement subassemblies for failed units installed in a Symmetra PX model uninterruptible power supply unit. The bypass switch (P/N AME-SYMIM4) and intelligence module (P/N AME-SYSW80KF) are designed for use within the Symmetra PX 10-80kW, 208V UPS only and will operate properly with no other make or module. Conversely, no other switch arrangement will function properly in the aforementioned model UPS.
