Description
ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED. IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supervision to remove and replace all boiler tubes in the Cleaver Brooks Boiler #1, S/N L-75593 in Building N24 (Steam Plant) at USCG Integrated Support Command, KODIAK, ALASKA The Contractor will repair ligament cracks in the rear tube sheet, clean and remove all debris from the front and rear tube sheets within the boiler and will hydrostatically test the boiler upon completion to test work. The proposed contract is a small business set aside. All responsible sources that submit a written quotation will be considered. Materials, workmanship, and procedures shall comply with the latest edition of all applicable codes and industry standards and these specifications. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None. Performance Period is: Oct - Nov SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to references and qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the Government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH all Federal, State, Local, and Base Environmental regulations, requirements, best management practices, and standard operating procedures. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED UPON REQUEST. A SITE VISIT will not be held. Familiarity with the location of the island of Kodiak and with weather at that site is encouraged. Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated price range is $25,000 - $75,000.
