Description
NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a follow-on single source contract to Acton Partners, LLC, a veteran owned small business, at 83 Concord Road, Acton, MA, 01720 to maintain continuity, consistency (standardization), and uninterrupted consultation services to the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center and the Regions and Center Operations Management Team for Strategic Management Processes. This specific requirement is for the continuation of the implementation a Strategic Management Process (SMP) in support of the execution of the Flight Plan and associated business plans. Support to build a complete SMP is concentrated around the five major components of the SMP mode as follows: 1) Strategy Development and Refresh, 2) Governance Development, 3) Cascading Strategy and Communications, 4) Business Integration, and 5) Team Effectiveness. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. Acton Partners is currently working with the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in the development of a strategy model to help the Center achieve agency Flight Plan and local goals. Acton Partners, LLC has a solid understanding and in-depth knowledge of the Center's business and can use this experience to further standardize the SMP model. Acton Partners has significantly developed one of the components and the remaining components must build on this previous work since each is critically linked to one another to provide a whole functional model. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. If your firm believes it can fulfill the requirement, please provide evidence of your firm's capability and experience in providing the services outlined above and the FAA will evaluate that information accordingly. All responses to this announcement must be directed to Debby Getz, Contracting Officer by 9:00 A.M. CST, 7 Aug 2007.
