Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, WRD Discipline located in Storrs, CT has a requirement for 3-component seismometers capable of interfacing with a laptop computer with the following specifications: Minimum frequency range: 0.1-40 Hz; Sampling rate: minimum of for samples per second; Weight: Maximum of 10 Kg ;Operating temp range: -10 to 50 degrees C; Power: Capable of operating off a 12 V DC power supply; Recording Format: compatible with SAC, SEG-Y, and CSS data formats; GPS receiver with time synchronization of +/- 2 microseconds; Water Resistant; Interconnecting cables required to connect a PC.; Firms who feel that they can furnish the required items based on the RFQ 07ERQQ0134 are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response to this announcement. THIS ACQUSITION WILL BE MADE UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. The Product Service code is 6655 The NAICS code is 334515. Quotes are due at 2:00PM on 08/07/2007.
