Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce, Gray?s Reef National Marine Sanctuary (GRNMS), Savannah, GA., intends award a purchase order for a base period and one option year for the development of exhibits and Educator Workshops to Georgia Aquarium Incorporated (GAI), in Atlanta, GA. The GAI will develop additional exhibits depicting the conservation goals of the National Marine Sanctuary Program (NMSP) as required by the National marine Sanctuary Act (NMSA). GAI was responsible for designing the initial GRNMS exhibits housed at the Aquarium. This requirement will require Georgia Aquarium to conduct a workshop for educators in accordance with the NMSA Act. GAI currently has an exhibit in operation depicting watershed processes and ocean connectivity which will provide the basis of the workshop. Offeror must be able to: Demonstrate ability to develop concept for new interpretive exhibits, and develop design. Produce graphics, photographs, video and interactive devices for the new exhibits. Be authorized to install the exhibits at the Georgia Aquarium both in the public gallery (Georgia Explorer) and on the second-floor education loop. Ensure that full credit to NOAA/GRNMS is acknowledged in the exhibit both for funding and for management of the sanctuary program. Demonstrate ability to provide the manpower, expertise for concept, design, production and installation. Demonstrate ability to provide support for conference facility preparation and conclusion at the GAI. Demonstrate the ability to develop the tours, and workshops. Period of performance shall begin on or about August 20, 2007. The NAICS code for this action is 541410. This is a 100% small business set-aside. This service is being procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items Procedures.
