Description
This is a sources sought notice for the following NetCOBOL items listed below. The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) has a requirement for brand name or equivalent products and services as described below. MSHA intends to award an order for the items below from an established GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. All sources are welcome to provide company and product information, as well as ability to provide the goods and services listed, via an e-mail, to the Contracting Officer by close of business January 3, 2004. Those firms capable of providing the required items will be contacted for a price quote and potential delivery date. No fax or telephone information will be accepted. Please provide GSA/FSS contract number for reference. Items 1 NetCOBOL V7.0 Windows Enterprise COBOL Development Environment – 1 license 2 NetCOBOL V7.0 Windows Professional COBOL Development Environment – 5 licenses 3 NetCOBOL V7.0 Windows COBOL Server Runtime Environment for 4 servers with a total of 12 processors 4 NetCOBOL Onsite Professional Support in Lakewood, Colorado – not to exceed 20 hours Description NetCOBOL (previously called Fujitsu COBOL) for Windows is a complete COBOL development and runtime environment that allows you to create standalone COBOL applications and/or COBOL components for use with Microsoft® visual tools. NetCOBOL for Windows Version 7 runs on Windows® 98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003. NetCOBOL for Windows comes in three editions: Standard, Professional and Enterprise. The texts below indicate which features are only available in the Professional or Enterprise editions. The NetCOBOL Project Manager is a project-oriented development environment that provides integrated access to an editor, compiler (NetCOBOL), interactive debugger, execution environment, and other supporting tools. A sophisticated data file editor is also included with the Enterprise Edition. It supports all COBOL data file types and provides editing, conversion, printing, sorting, test data generation, reorganizing, and recovery facilities.
