- SUPPLIES SOURCES SOUGHT: The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, National Weather Service, National Logistics Support Center (NLSC), has a requirement for an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for power block assemblies, Electro Miniature Corp., P/N D2263-23, NSN: 5977-01-380-4312, ASN: R400-2A1A2A1, and signal block assemblies, odd numbers 1-29 Electro Miniature P/N C2263-20-1, NSN: 5977-01-388-4239, ASN R400-2A1A2A2 and signal block assemblies, even nunmbers 2-30, Electro Miniature Corp P/N C2263-20-2, NSN 5977-01-388-4261, ASN R400-2A1A2A. The block assemblies are used in the Nexrad pedestal slip ring assemblies. The period of performance is for a base period of five (5) years. The minimum quantity for the power block assembly is twenty (20) per year and the minimum quantity for the signal block assemblies is fifty (50) per year. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 335312 or 500 employees. The Government does not have specifications or drawings for this item. Electro-Miniature Corporation is an approved source. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. If no qualified responses are received, the Government intends to contract with Electro-Miniature Corporation, Inc., 68 West Commercial Avenue, Moonachie, NJ 07074. This is not intended to be a competitive proposal. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by submitting a required qualifications statement. In order to be considered, firms must furnish detailed product data that demonstrates their capability to provide the supplies that will satisfy the Government?s needs. That is a signal block assembly meeting the form, fit and function of Electro Miniature P/N D226-23 and C2263-20-1. All proposals received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Reference No. WC133W-07-RP-0065PY.
