Description
**The NAICS code has been revised because the tasks required in this procurement cover several NAICS codes. Therefore, we have chosen a NAICS code that relates to some of the tasks and provides for the most competition among small businesses.** Description: The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement for supplemental staffing support for the US Army Medical Materiel Activity (USAMMA). This requirement is a 100% set aside for small businesses. Multiple-award Ind efinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)contracts are contemplated. The anticipated period of performance for the base year is 28 Sep 07 through 27 Sep 08. The contracts will have four option years. Supplemental staffing support services will be requ ired in nine general task areas: One- Preparation of Unit Assemblage Handbooks for publication; Two - Logistics support for the Joint Biological Agent Identification System (JBAIDS); Three- Electronic Catalog (ECAT) coordination; Four- Logistics Assistance Program / Equipping the Force quality assurance support; Five - Federal Medical Contingency Station Hospital Type I project support; Six - Administrative Support for the USAMMA Maintenance Divisions located at Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA, Hill Air Force Base , UT, and Tracy Army Depot, CA.; Seven - AMEDD National Maintenance Point Support; Eight - Sample Data Collection; Nine - Transition and Space Manager in support of a Military Construction Project. Initial Task Orders for known requirements will be issued concurrently with award of the contracts. Evaluation criteria are Technical Approach, Technical Capability  Initial Task Orders, Past Performance, and Price.
