Description: The proposed contract action is for 349 each Remington 870 Modular Combat Shotguns (MCS), NSN 1005-01-524-4273, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The intended source is RACI Holding, Inc. (Remington Arms Company, Inc.), 870 Remington Drive, Madison, NC 27025. The Remington 870 MCS has been determined to be the only shotgun that meets the USAF's training requirements. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
