- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REQUESTING INFORMATION IN SUPPORT OF THE FOLLOWING POTENTIAL REQUIREMENT. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, nor is it a request seeking contractors for placemen t on a solicitation mailing list. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. The Directorate of Contracting (DOC) at Fort Carson, Colorado is seeking small businesses capable of providing desktop copiers, stand alone copiers and NAIPS/DITSCAP ce rtified network copiers to include document imaging/management centers. The Government is not interested in GSA schedule items or services. Interested parties responding to this sources sought notice should provide information directly related to their a bilities to meet Government requirements for short term and long term rentals. In particular, please provide responses to the following questions: 1) Does your company provide copier and document imaging/management solutions that meet the NIAPS/DITSCAP s ecurity certification requirements? 2) Can your company provide short term rental copiers (1 to 12 months in duration)? 3) What type of document management and copier solutions have you provided to customers in the past four years? 4) What is industry standard for rentals of desk top, stand alone, and network copiers, include document imaging/management centers? 5) Is your company capable of meeting those industry standards? No final commitment has been made to procure the stated requirement and this sources sought notice should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur costs in anticipation of such procurement. Contractors shall not be reimbursed for providing this information; therefore, DOC -Fort Carson will accept the requested in formation in whatever format it is provided. All information provided will become property of the U. S. Army and will not be returned. Responses are requested by 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time on Friday 3 August 2007 and should include a point of contact, phone number, fax number, and email address.
