The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG), Virginia Beach, Virginia intends to issue a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Battelle Memorial Institute, 505 King Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201-2693 for procurement of the following products: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 Desert High Mobility Multi Wheel Vehicle (DHMMWV) Transparent Armor DS Windshield Assembly QUANTITY 5 each CLIN 0002 DHMMWV Transparent Armor PS Windshield Assembly QUANTITY 4 each CLIN 0003 DHMMWV Inline Fuel Filters QUANTITY 20 each CLIN 0004 Joint Non Tactical Vehicle (JNTV) Air Filter QUANTITY 20 each CLIN 0005 JNTV Racor Fuel Filter Kit QUANTITY 6 each SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION: The Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) was designed by Battelle and is utilized with customized DHMMWV wheel kits, which are compatible for the tactical platform utilized in the field. Battelle also designed transparent armor windshield assemblies that are customized for easy installation in the field to reduce downtime of vehicles.
