- Description
- The NETCOM/9th Signal Command (Army) has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Carlisle Barracks, PA. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provid er, certified by the state of Pennsylvania, shall provide local commercial communications service for Carlisle Barracks, which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, local exchan ge digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, transport channels, and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large , small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees NAICS 517110. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. So licitation is anticipated to be released on or about 26 July 2007. The solicitation can be viewed and downloaded from the Army Single Face to Industry(ASFI) Acquisition Business Website. The Government will conduct a preproposal conference and site visit on 9 Aug 2007 at Carlisle Barracks, PA, Bldg 650, Wright Avenue , at 0900 hours. It is recommended that prospective offerors attend this conference. The conference will be fr om 9:00 10:00 AM (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 11:00 12:00. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the specialist listed below, in writing, of all attendees names (not to exceed three per company) prior to 7 A ug 2007. Security information and directions will be provided at that time. An e-mail response to the specialist listed below is acceptable. Questions prior to the conference must be received before 7 Aug 2007. Questions generated as a result of the pr eproposal conference must be received by 18 August 2007 and sent to duane.markham@us.army.mil.
