Description

THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) is requesting submissions to pre-qualify firms for Design-Build (D/B) services for the design and construction of Standard Embassy Design (SED) New Embassy Compounds (NECs). Each project will consist of the design and construction of a compound to house U.S. Diplomatic functions in a particular overseas location. Each project is described below and may include a New Office Building (NOB), General Services Offices (GSO) and associated maintenance and warehouse facilities; perimeter security; vehicular and pedestrian access control facilities; parking; site recreational facilities; Marine Security Guard Quarters (MSGQ); and office annexes. New Embassy Complex buildings area: 13,364 square meters; Estimated design-build cost: $69 to $80 million.
