Description
LOAN SERVICING. 8(a) Set-aside. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has a requirement for loan servicing contract services to perform a wide range of FHA Insured and Secretary-held first, second and subordinate note and mortgage loan servicing functions. The servicing functions support the following loan programs: Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) Insured and HECM Assigned mortgages, Partial Claim mortgages, 235 Recapture and Nehemiah mortgages, Assignment Program mortgages, Asset Control area (ACA) Compliance and Enforcement mortgages, Purchase Money mortgages, Good Neighbor Next Door (GNND) mortgages and other mortgage programs as implemented. The objectives sought from this contract are: 1) Professional, effective, and comprehensive loan servicing for a variety of mortgage loans, notes and security instruments while maintaining a high standard of customer service; 2) Maximize recoveries from the loan portfolio at the earliest possibility; 3) Demonstrated effective risk management that identifies opportunities for reducing the primary or secondary portfolio; and 4) Developed and maintained state-of-the-art web based technology that supports current and future HUD initiatives and requirements; and 5) Expanded customer service support. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary services, equipment, materials, supplies, facilities, personnel, and supervision to accomplish the tasks as specified in the contract unless otherwise directed. The contractor?s office and the work shall be located and performed within 300 miles of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The NAICS code is 522390 with a size standard of $6.5 million. HUD intends to award one performance-based services contract from this COMPETITIVE 8(a) SET-ASIDE on or about September 25, 2007. The solicitation will be available on or about August 9, 2007 by downloading from HUD?s website at http://www.hud.gov/offices/cpo/contract.cfm. No hard copies of the solicitation will be made available. Telephone and e-mail requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. A pre-proposal conference will be scheduled for on or about August 17, 2007 in Denver, Colorado at 9:00 am MST. Oral presentations will also be required as part of the proposal. Information concerning both of these will be detailed in the solicitation.
