Is there a bedplate in the test cell where the dynamometer is going to be installed? There is no bed in the test cell, just bear concrete floor. 8. Are you implying with out stating that you need inline torque cells or if we can calculate are active current and calculate or torque is that acceptable? We need in-line torque cells 9. Are you wanting to run test profiles or just manual set points? We want to run test profiles 10. Are we providing temperature and pressure sensors or just electrical inputs to display them in our operator interface? Just electrical inputs to display them in their operator interface 11. Is there a list of preferred or qualified local contractors for the base to assist with the installation as we are out of Indiana? No list of vendors that I am aware of. 12. What are the protocols for the transmission communications or is it a simple analog / digital input/output? The 4L80E utilizes a Transmission Control Module (TCM), which is basically a computer that tells it when to shift. It reads the position of th e Throttle Position Sensor and tells the solenoids when to actuate. This controls the flow of fluid thru the valve body and changing the gear selection. 13. What tests are to be performed on the Valve Body solenoids? The valve body tester is utilized to test the valve bodies of the 3L80E and 4L80E transmission to verify proper repair of the valve body before installation on the transmission. The test chec ks the signal of the solenoids by sending and receiving electrical pulses. This needs to be a digital signal to the computer. 14. I'm not sure anyone could meet the deadline for delivery unless they had a system sitting on the shelf. Is there a possibility of extending the delivery time? The system is needed by September. You can propose an alternate date for consideration.
