Description

Solicitation Number W912HZ-07-T-0031 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisiti on Circular 2005-15. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns under NAICS Code 532412 (SIC 7353) with a size standard of $6,500,000.00. The USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Vicksburg, MS will be conducting fli ght testing with the C-17 aircraft at field test sites in support of the C-17 Semi-Prepared Runway Operations II (SPRO II) Program. During testing, the runway surface must be maintained to minimum standards to ensure quality data is collected. In order t o complete this testing, the equipment listed below is required to be delivered to Rattlesnake Landing Zone on Fort Chaffee, Arkansas and picked up from the tests site upon completion. The equipment should be compatible for use in soil earthwork operation s. The test at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas will be conducted from 25 July to 06 November 2007. (Please see detailed specifications) Detailed specifications will be available on the FedBizOpps website at https://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 24 July 2007. Hardcopies will not be available. Offerors should check the FedBizOpps web page often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMEN TS) to existing ones. VENDORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO QUOTE ON ALL OR PART OF THE ITEMS REQUESTED. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE MULTIPLE AWARDS. A MONTH IS FOUR (4) WEEKS FOR PURPOSES OF THIS SOLICITATION.
