Description: The project consists of maintenance dredging the Entrance Channel, Mooring Berth and Boat Basin at the Chincoteague Coast Guard Base to a depthof 10 feet MLLW (NOS) with one foot of allowable overdepth. All material shall be dredged by bucket or cla mshell method and place in barges or scows, transported to the Chincoteague Coast Guard Base Boat Basin docking area, placed in water-tight dump trucks, and transported to the Town of Chincoteague Curtis Merritt Harbor Disposal Area approximately 2 1/2 mil es away at the southern tip of Chincoteague Island. The work involves dredging approximately 13,000 cubic yards of material.
