Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to provide Janitorial/Custodial Services at the Stewart Air Traffic Control Tower, Newburgh, New York. The period of performance is estimated to begin on/or about October 1, 2007, with four (4) one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide at their expense all supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, etc., necessary to perform specified custodial services. All companies submitting a bid must be registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Data Base or must be before award. The Screening Information Request (SIR)/Solicitation will be a total set-aside for small business concerns. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720. All companies submitting a bid on this job must have an office within a one hundred (100) mile radius of the FAA Facility located at Stewart Air Traffic Control Tower, and must, for at least the previous year prior to submission of this Bid, have continuously engaged in day-to-day business, which business has been staffed and continuously and openly maintained. This office must be maintained during the entire life of the contract. Map Quest will be the tool used to determine distance. The SIR will be available on 07/26/2007. The SIR is being sent to the following companies: LCS Facilities Maintenance Inc., 381 Main St., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 and Reliable Cleaning Services, 289 North Plank Rd., Ste. 4, Newburgh, NY 12550. All other companies who meet the above requirements may fax there request to Ms. Catherine De Toma, Fax No. (718) 995-5685, on company letter head showing the address within the one hundred (100) mile radius, no Post Office Box Addresses will be accepted. No phone requests will be accepted. Requests will only be accepted till 7/30/2007, after that date no SIR/Solicitation packages will be available. Mandatory Walk-Thru is scheduled for Thursday, August 9, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. Only companies who have qualified to receive the solicitation package and are on the list of vendors who received the solicitation will be allowed to make an appointment. Offers will only be accepted from contractors who attend the Walk-Thru. Offers will be evaluated in accordance with the SIR. Evaluation Criteria include Past Performance, Financial Capability, Insuarability. The Government will make a single award to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and is determined to be technically acceptable and the lowest price offer received.
