- This Presolicitation Notice is to announce CDC/NIOSH/NPPTLs intention to purchase from TSI Inc. an 8587A Laser Photometer and 3033 Vacuum Pump. The CDC/NIOSH/NPPTL standard test method requires equipment that must match/incorporate into the existing equipment of the Laboratory Respirator Protection Level (LRPL) Test. Based upon its market research, CDC is unaware of any other compatible products that meet the technical requirements or specifications of this procurement. Therefore, 15 days after the posting of this announcement, CDC will be issuing an RFQ to TSI Inc. for the items stated above. This notice is for information purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. Any responsible vendor interested in this procurement who believes that they have similar devices that meets all the technical specifications specified for this procurement are encouraged to submit product and pricing information to: James Ambrozic, Purchasing Agent, eud7@cdc.gov. Any information received in response to this notice will be considered by the Government solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
