Description

The U. S. Department of Commerce, NOAA?s National Ocean Service has a requirement to design and build eleven (11) Horizontal Acoustic Doppler Meter Mounts. A panel will review and select a design that will best fulfill the needs of National Ocean Service, Requirements and Development Division. The selection will be based on ease of installation, simplicity of the design, anticipated reliability in the marine environment, and cost to build. The panel will meet with the selected vendor to outline the elements that shall be included in the design and to review and approve the final drawings. The end design becomes the property of NOAA/National Ocean Service. The Government intends to award a fixed-price purchase order. The NAICS code is 334513. The solicitation is available only online and will be available for download on or about July 23, 2007. Quotations are due no later than 1:00 P.M. August 2, 2007. This award is full and open competition for award under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit an offer to be considered by the agency.
