- Description
- The Social Security Administration intends to issue on a sole-source basis a firm fixed priced purchase order to National Auto Dealers Association DBA/ NADA (National Automobile Dealers Association) to renewal an electronic subscription e-Valuator LAN that will allow users access to obtain information that provides the values of new and used vehicles by year, make, series and body styles (also by VIN). The period of performance is for a 10-months beginning December 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008. Under FAR Part 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 will be used. NADA is the only known source that can provide market-reflective used vehicle valuations for financial institutions, credit unions, government agencies, insurance companies, re-marketers, dealers, auctions, manufacturers and rental agencies. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, but merely notification of the Government's intent to renew its subscription with the NADA. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this publication. If an acceptable response is not received within 3 business days of this announcement, an order will be issued to the NADA. Respondents should refer to 0951-07-1007NADA.
