- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. This proposed procurement is for the MK 95 Mod 2 Gun-Mount. This synopsis and the follow-on solicitation will be a 100 % small business set-aside. The items shall be manufactured In accordance with Government drawing packages. The drawing packages will be made available upon request by interested contractors once the solicitation has been issued. Standard Commercial Packaging will be required for the MK 95 Mod 2 Gun-Mount. Solicitation N00164-07-R-4832 will potentially result in multiple awards, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract(s). In regards to the contract award(s), the awardees will receive a minimum, which will result in a contract award which will enable the contract awardees an opportunity to compete on future delivery orders. Contract awardees will be based on the determination of ?best value? in terms of that individual contractor?s proposal. The minimum ordering threshold for any one (1)-delivery order will be 5 EA Mk 95 Mod 2 Gu n-Mounts. The vendors that are determined to be ?best value? in regards to the MK 95 Mod 2 Gun-Mount will receive contract award and will have an opportunity to compete on follow-on delivery orders issued on the five-year multiple award IDIQ type contract(s). The maximum ordering threshold for any one order will be 50 Ea MK 95 Mod 2 Gun-Mounts. The total dollar amount for this procurement is $5M. Delivery of the minimum quantity is required to begin within 90 days after contract award, and shall be FOB destination. The anticipated delivery location is NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, IN. Inspection and acceptance shall also be at destination. To be eligible for award, contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contractors must also be registered with the Joint Certification Program (JCP) to be eligible to receive the drawing package associated with this procurement. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration an d annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via t he internet @ www.ccr.gov. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
