- Description
- The Defense Distribution Center, New Cumberland, PA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Sensitech for supplying the Defense Distribution Depot of Susquehanna Pennsylvania with temperature monitors used to monitor the temperature of flu vaccines. The Defense Distribution Center plans to award a sole source purchase order under the conditions stated in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Sensitechs Temp Tales 4 temperature monitors have been identified as providing all the performance characteristics required to monitor the tested temperature range of 2 to 8 degrees Celsius that are necessary in order to guarantee potency of the vaccines. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon written responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government based upon an established packaging protocol between the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia and the United States Medical Material Agency.
