Description: The USPFO for KY has an mobile command vehicle (Freightliner MT55 Chassis) that requires the purchase and installation of an emergency light system and camera mast system. This will involve major reconstruction of the vehicle, including rewiring and networking all existing components in the vehicle. We intend to negotiate a price with LDV, Inc. The manufacturer of the vehicle as a follow on contract to the original purchase of the vehicle, unless contacted by a qualified party prior to COB 27 JUL 07. Provide references of similar performance to SSG V alentine that demonstrates the capacity to satisfactorily perform this work. Work includes, relocation of light controls, wiring, installation of sirens (Whalen) speakers, lights, emergency lighting. Install and route mast camera feed, install customer furnished mast and all controls, shelves and brackets, fabricate and install cus tom swivel antenna mount on mast, camera system (Pelco) on mast, 15 gal air tank for mast compressor. All existing components will be networked and functional with new equipment to be installed on the vehicle (Freightliner MT55 Chassis). This requires maj or modification to the back of the vehicle to include partially removing the rear wall. A pre-bid meeting will be scheduled if other qualified firms respond.
