Description

This project consists of providing labor, all materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to demolish one 4-ton split system air conditioning unit and associated fans, ductwork, and piping; 5 unit heaters, 4 fin tube radiators and associated piping; and install one 4-ton air-cooled heat pump and associated ductwork, y steam units heaters and associated piping, 4 electric wall and unit heaters. All work is to take place at AEDC Facility 1401, heavy Equipment Shop in accordance with the specification and drawings. The buildings will be occupied at all times during the contract performance. Performance period is 120 days following Notice to Proceed. Invitation for Bid will be available on or about 2 August 2007. Bid opening date will be on or about 5 September 2007. Construction Magnitude: Between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Invitation for Bid (IFB) will only be available electronically at the FBO website. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of IFB Amendments, Clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information.
