- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) is soliciting proposals for an experienced Hardware Engineer for maintenance and support for the HOST hardware systems. The Host Systems Support Branch, ATO-E (AJE-1210), is responsible for providing process engineering, support, maintenance, and software/hardware updates/fixes/patches for the FAA HOST System. This proposed procurement is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ), Labor Hour type contract with a period of performance of four (4) years. The evaluation consists of one (1) factor: Key Personnel - Hardware Engineer with ten (10) sub-factors. The technical proposal shall be technically evaluated and graded on a pass/fail basis. Only proposals achieving an overall "Pass" rating will be considered for award of this requirement. Award shall be made to the technically acceptable, lowest priced bidder. This proposed procurement is a 100 % Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services with a size standard of $23 million. Interested parties responding to this solicitation are directed to the attached SIR. All questions/ inquires must be provided in writing to William Zeiger at william.zeiger@faa.gov. Proposals are due no later than August 2, 2007 by 2:00 PM, EST. This SIR does not commit or obligate the Government. Offeror's are cautioned to review all attachments.
