Description
The purpose of this amendment is to revise the specifications and reiterate documentation required to evaluate proposals and extend the date for receipt of offers. The specification (sections 1 and 3) is revised as follows: 1. The total weight of the scanner assembly must be less than 510 lbs. (this includes all parts associated with the scanner to operate it at the lowest frequency, 1.7 GHz, but not including the probe) 3. The maximum width of the scanner must be less than 100 inches and the maximum depth must be less than 35 inches. The offeror must provide detailed drawings of the proposed near field scanner. To further clarify the requirement, the following information is provided. a. The proposal must include a list of equipment and test procedures that will be used to verify the installation. b. The proposal must provide measured data based on the system you would be providing to the government. Any similar equipment must be mechanical equivalent to the unit to be provided to the government. c. The proposal must provide documentation on the usage of the FARO laser scanner. d. The proposal must provide documentation on the vertical arm deflection estimate. e. The proposal must provide documentation to show compatibility with the receivers listed in the RFP. Simply stating compliance with the specification without providing enough information to evaluate the proposal may be considered non-responsive. The response date for receipt of proposal is extended to 4:00 P.M. local time, July 30, 2007. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-JUL-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
