Description
Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC) contemplates issuing a solicitation for lodging facilities in Freehold, New Jersey. This procurement is to provide long-term hotel lodging services for civilian mariners employed by the U.S. Government. The hotel providing the services must be located within a one hour commute during rush hour traffic, from the main entrance of the Military Sealift Fleet Support Command Training Center, located at 1029 Highway 33, East Freehold, New Jersey. The Government anticipates awarding either a single or multiple award IDIQ contract(s) in response to the solicitation. The initial period of performance is expected to commence on or about 01 March 2008 for a period of one (1) year with four (4) one-year option periods. Room reservations will be made in advance. Minimum requirements Primary Hotel(s) and overflow hotel(s) must hold a current AAA 3 Diamond rating, Mobil / Michelin 3 Star, or Yahoo 3 star rating or higher. Coin operated laundry facilities on site, Microwave/ refrigerators in guest rooms. All properties will be inspected and approved for use by MSFSC Contracting officer or designated representative. Primary and overflow hotel(s) will be located within a 1 hour rush hour commute to the Training center. Estimate average of a 80 rooms per night, high 120 rooms estimate. Contractor will be required to maintain 50 rooms per night at the primary hotel(s), use of overflow properties will at contractor?s discretion for lodging requirements over 50 rooms. Reservations will be made in advance of arrival of the hotel guests by the MSFSC designated POC. All offerors must demonstrate that they have received a rating of satisfactory, for the last two years from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Health Pest Control. Offerors must provide a State of New Jersey Bureau of Housing Green Card. Offerors must provide documentation demonstrating compliances with the Commonwealth of New Jersey State Regulations for Hotels/Motels. This will be a full and open competition conducted under the simplified acquisition procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13.5-Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A pre-solicitation conference is tentatively scheduled for the early autumn timeframe in Freehold, NJ. Vendors interested in attending a pre-solicitation conference should submit a written request to Mr. Corey Squires at corey.squires@navy.mil or Ms. Dawn Leonard at dawn.leonard@navy.mil to be included on dissemination of any information pertaining to the conference. Should the Government issue a solicitation the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available on the Military Sealift Commands website (www.msc.navy.mil) under the contracts webpage. Interested vendors are strongly encouraged to register on the website to receive notifications when pertinent documents are posted for public viewing.
