- The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for a Contractor to furnish all management, supervision, labor, subcontracting, services of manufacturers representatives and all facilities, utilities, equipment, tools, lubricants, fu els, materials and articles necessary to drydock and repair the Motor Vessel Kent. The Kent is a welded steel towboat 85 long, 32 wide and 10-6 deep. The light displacement is 304 long tons. The loaded displacement is 410 long tons. Loaded draft is approximately 8-6 . Contractors facility must be located within 100 mile radius of US Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans, LA. Solicitation W912P8-07-T-0167 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The applicable North American Industry Classific ation System (NAICS) code is 336611. This solicitation is unrestricted. Quotes are due on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 10:00 CST.
