Description

The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS 237990. To qualify as a small business concern, the concern must have had average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $31.0 millio n. This project is advertised as an 8(a) Competitive requirement restricted to 8(a) firms located in IL, KY, MO, TN, MS and AR or have an SBA certified bona fide place of business within any of the aforementioned states. All other firms are deemed ineli gible to submit offers. The work consists of clearing and disposal of debris from the channel; excavation and disposal of material from the channel; furnishing and placing of filter material and riprap; the installation of 24-inch, corrugated metal pipe; turfing; removal water wells; and environmental protection. There will be nine (9) drawings. The base contract work will begin at station 838+18 (State Highway 79 bridge) and ends at station 1004+50 (Simsboro Rd. county bridge). The contract option #1 c ontinues from this point to station 1064+00 (Proctor Rd county bridge). The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This solicitation will issue on/about 31 July 2007 and bid opening will be on/about 30 August 200 7.
