Description

Amendment #2 is hereby issued to answer the below question(s). Question 1: Is this an 8, 12, 16 or 20 cylinder 645E4 engine? This engine has 16 cylinders. Question 2: What brand of lube oil is currently being used in the EMD engine, please? Lube oil currently being used is Chevron Delo 40W Railroad Duty. Question 3: We believe that the amount of piping should be quantified - to replace the entire front end piping on an EMD generator is a huge job and we are speculating that the piping itself is not leaking, but that the joints are. If that is the case, can you specify how many joints require renewal? There are two connections on the oil pipe that need new gaskets. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (13-JUL-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
