Description
The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) is seeking hotels with the capacity to meet the following requirements in one hotel: 165 guest rooms, meeting rooms, catering services, audio-visual, and parking services of a qualified hotel for an OTS Meeting to be held Dec 2, 2007 through December 6, 2007 in downtown Washington, DC, Crystal City or Rosslyn, VA, downtown Baltimore, or Annapolis, MD. The meeting will be held December 4, 5, 6 with guests arriving December 2 and 3rd. The meeting will have a reception from about 5pm to 8pm on December 4, 2007 and will have one sit-down luncheon for 165 people on Wedneday December 4, 2007. OTS will require a room for a general session meeting of approximately 165 people and 3 break-out rooms for approximately 55 people each. 7am to 8:30am - continental breakfast (December 4, 5 and 6) 1 room for a general session for 160 (December 4, 5 and 6) 3 breakout rooms for concurrent sessions of approximately 55 each (December 4, 5 and 6) OTS will require audio visual equipment for both the general session and break out rooms for December 4, 5, and 6) MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel must ... 1. be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2. be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); 3. have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Hotel & Travel Index; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner; 4. be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database; 5. hold the space on a first option basis If your hotel can provide the above services at the above dates, submit your interest via email by 2:00PM Wednesday July 18, 2007 to elaine.logan@ots.treas.gov
