Description
DESC: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The 355th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to seek providers of servicing wing rotational fixtures that are used to hold the wing so that it can be rotated 360 degrees for maintenance purposes, along with alignment reasons. NAICS is 332710, Machine Shops. The specific requirement is to service 6 wing rotational fixtures, 14 IF2 fixtures, 2 stanchions and 2 dollies. 0001 - The contractor shall recertify data on six (6) wing rotational fixtures at least once per year. The contractor shall perform annual preventive maintenance inspections (PMI), oil changes, gear box inspections, alignment verifications, and detail body for each of the six (6) rotational fixtures. 0002 - IF2 Fixtures. The contractor shall recertify fourteen (14) IF2 fixtures twice per year or at least after every second wing installation. Scheduled services shall be accomplished within two weeks of date of request from AMARC. The contractor shall provide AMARC with documentation of re-certification on the IF2 fixtures. 0003 - Stanchions. The contractor shall perform PMI on the two (2) stanchions associated with each rotational fixture. The contractor shall verify the distance and relationship between the pair of stanchions, inspect the gearbox and working components, fill or change oils and lubricants, inspect electrical components and perform tests, replace missing parts, and repair or replace damaged parts. The contractor shall provide AMARC with documentation of maintenance performed on the stanchions. 0004 - Dollies. The contractor shall perform scheduled PMI on two dollies for IF2 fixture transport. The contractor shall verify, and if necessary correct dimensions, check and repair gearboxes and components, and replace or repair any missing or damaged parts. The contractor shall provide AMARC with documentation of maintenance performed on the dollies. All sources capable of providing this service are being sought.
