- Services of qualified, responsible SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS firms who have the capacity and capability to provide all tools, labor, materials, and expertise to complete Project 596-07-105, ABATE MERCURY CONTAMINATED DRAIN LINE, B-1, LD, at the VA Medical Center, Lexington, KY, in accordance with drawings and specifications. Work includes specialized demolition and abatement of drain lines containing liquid and/or gaseous mercury and includes placement of new drain lines to reconnect and provide complete plumbing drain system. Estimated construction cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) No. 562910 with a size standard of $13 million applies. Work to be completed within 100 calendar days. This procurement is 100% SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-A-SIDE. Bids from other than SDVOSB's will not be considered. All respondents must be registered in CCR at http://www.ccr.gov AND in VetBiz at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov to verify eligibility for award, as well as ORCA at https://orca.bpn.gov Award is subject to availability of funds. Bid documents will be available for download on the website http://www.fedbizopps.gov after August 6, 2007. Amendments will not be mailed, but will be posted at this website as well. In order to receive e-mail notification of any new amendments that have been issued and posted, you must register to "Receive Notification." Bidders are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for bid opening.
