Description
THIS IS A COMPETITIVE ACQUISITON SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED-VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs). The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is soliciting proposals to support to HRSA?s Center for Quality (CQ) in improving quality, systems, and alignment across HRSA Programs and to promote the success of grantees in achieving outcomes around the HRSA Core Measures and implementation of Patient Safety Initiative: Phase 2 activities to increase patient health outcomes. The purpose of Patient Safety and Pharmacy Initiative is to: (1) identify areas for biggest gains in patient safety, pharmacy, and progress on core measures, (2) develop a baseline knowledge and capability/faculty for making improvements; (3) establish Aims, and (4) generate rapid improvements to make HRSA?s programs the safest in American healthcare. The meetings for this requirement will vary in their method of implementation as follows: ?Face to face-will connect a cross-section of HRSA programs, staff and leaders with grantees are already using and succeeding with Core Measure and others ?Distance based-communities of Practice will engage HRSA Bureaus and their grantees in clinical, operational and financial leadership expertise and assistance ?Satellite Participation-Within HRSA Bureau?s and Offices, grantees and their partners will engage in supported meetings that they each manage locally This contract shall also support distance-based technologies for transmission of meeting content across the 10 HRSA regions. This is a new requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561920, ?Convention and Trade Show Organizers? and the small size dollars 6.5M. This will be a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract under FAR Part 15. The period of performance will be for 12 months with four (4) 12-month option periods. A solicitation will be issued electronically and will be available for downloading from this site on or about July 31, 2007. The due date for questions is August 16, 2007 no later than 4 p.m. EST.
