Description: The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, U.S. Meat Animal Research Center, Clay Center, NE, has a requirement to decommission (abandon) an existing six inch steel cased domestic/livestock water well(s) and drill and case a new eight inch domestic/livestock water well, and to construct four cased irrigation wells with vertical turbine pumps and hollow shaft electric drive motors, etc. Work includes associated piping, valves, fittings, controls, wiring, supply and installation of materials. The Government estimates the cost of construction between $100,000 and $150,000. The solicitation will be available for downloading on or about July 27, 2007.
