Description

The purpose of this announcement is to provide notice that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2, Albuquerque, New Mexico, intends to issue a firm-fixed price modification to existing Contract No. 201816C016 to Western EcoSystems Technology, Inc. to continue the Golden Eagle Survey initiated July 2006. This acquisition is to initiate the 2007 study. Prior procurement action was for the 2006 study. This sole source award would provide the project continuity of service and protocol standardization. Survey methodology and analytical procedure used in previous surveys is proprietary in nature. This announcement is published as a Sole Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Pre-Solicitation Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received by 2:00 p.m. MST, Monday, July 16, 2007 will be considered by the Government. The anticipated award date is July 18, 2007.
