Description

Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and qualified supervision necessary to accomplish Replace Roofs & Gutters Phase II project No. 666-07-102, Construction Work under this project includes, but is not limited to: Buildings 71S, 7, 41, 86, Tramway between buildings 8-9, 7-8, 3-4, Tramway Tram-61, Tramway Tram-64, at the VA Medical Center Sheridan, WY. Work also includes (but is not limited to); tear off old roofing and/or sheathing, reinstalling sheathing, installing roofing membrane as per design and specifications, gutter/downspout/splash block removal/repair/replace, and replace railing as specified in the plan set. This Acquisition is a Competitive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside, bids will only be accepted from firms that are certified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in www.vetbiz.gov. Project Cost Range: $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. A Bid Bond (Standard Form 24) is required on this project. A Payment (Standard Form 25a) & Performance Bond (Standard Form 25) is required within 10 calendar days after award. The solicitation will be issued in hard copy only (i.e. not electronic). Plan sets can be obtained on or after the issue date from the A/E, Malone Belton Able, 340 West Dow Street, Sheridan, WY 82801, 307-674-4476. There is a $25 refundable deposit required for Plan Sets Contractor must complete the project within 360 days after receiving notice to proceed. NAICS CODE: 238160 SIZE STANDARD: $12M Electronic offers will not be accepted. Expected Solicitation issue date is 7/23/2007 Award is subject to the availability of funds. There will be a pre-bid conference (site visit) at 1:00 PM (Mountain Time) on July 31, 2007, meeting first at VA Medical Center Building 5 Room 219, 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, WY. There will be a public bid opening, 2:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, August 23, 2007.
