- REQUIREMENT: General Services Administration is interested in leasing office and related space consisting of approximately 2,258 rentable square feet, which will yield approximately 1,964 BOMA usable square feet of office space for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. The space will be occupied by Social Security Administration. LEASE TERM: Ten (10) years; Five (5) years firm term. UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Office space must be contiguous and have potential for efficient layout. Space shall be located on the second floor or above and in a professional office setting. The Government requires a fully serviced lease including two (2) on-site parking spaces. Handicapped parking must be available on-site. Buildings with parking below the building will not be considered. If on-site parking is not available, ten (10) visitor parking spaces must be available within 600 feet (or two blocks, whichever is less) of the office and must be within commercial rates. Regularly scheduled (throughout the day) public transportation must be available within 600 feet from the building entrance. All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are desired as part of the rental consideration. Space shall not be located within a base (100-year) flood plain or wetland unless the Government has determined it to be the only practicable alternative. New construction requires a minimum 20? setback from the building and vehicular traffic. The Government shall have access to the space 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire and Life Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Buildings that contain asbestos or PCB materials will not be considered. LOCATION: Start at intersection of Bertrand Dr and W. Congress Drive. Northeast on W. Congress to Jefferson Street. Northeast on Jefferson Street to Hwy 90 (SE Evangeline Hwy). Southeast on Hwy 90 to E Verot School Rd. West on E Verot Shool Rd to Feu Follet Rd. Northwest on Feu Follet to Kaliste Saloom Rd. Northeast on Kaliste Saloom to 182 (Pinhook Rd). North on 182 across the Vermillion River. The North side of the Vermilion River will be the boundary. Southwest along the river to Ambassador Caffery. Northwest on Ambassador Caffery to Bertrand Drive. Southeast on Bertrand Dr back to W. Congress Drive. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING NO LATER THAN JULY 20, 2007 AND SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: 1) Building name and address. 2) Legal description 3) One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered. 3) Square footage offered. 4) Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet. 5) Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted. 6) Evidence of authority to represent the owner.
