Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision to construct approximately 1.1 miles of crushed aggregate trail, 140 feet of boardwalk, 260 square feet of concrete flatwork, two small wooden bridges, rough and finish grading, minor clearing and grubbing, selective tree removal, and pruning, landscaping, composite fencing, and other miscellaneous work. The project is located approximately 5 miles west of Chillicothe, Ohio, in Ross County, along Sulfur Lick Road. The project performance period is 120 days after issuance of the notice to proceed. The NAICS code is 237990. The small business size standard is $31.0 million. The estimated price range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. Accordingly, it is open to both small and large businesses. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, bid schedule, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 13, 2007.
