Description

This notice is to provide an update for everyone on the status of the CFT source selection. As of Jun 29, 2007 the package is being reviewed at AFMC and SAF/AQ for approval to issue the formal RFP. Reviews are proceeding smoothly and no major problems or concerns have arisen. Due to the holiday next week, an exact release date for the formal RFP is difficult to predict. The best guess right now is we "hope" to release the RFP between Jul 9 and Jul 13, 2007. This date could slip until as late as Jul 20, 2007 if further unexpected delays are encountered though. This anticipated release date is in NO WAY a guarantee, but is merely provided to hopefully allow for adequate planning of interested parties. Further details will be posted as they are known. If possible, we will post positive notice of when we will release the RFP; however due to the extremely tight timelines we're under, such notice may be the day prior to release. All interested parties are highly encouraged to keep a close eye on FBO from this point on as once the RFP goes out, we will be on a VERY tight schedule to make award no later than 31 Jan 08.
