Description

General Services Administration (GSA) provided 16,579 rentable square feet of office space in Metairie, LA. GSA is interested in considering alternative space if relocation is economically advantageous to the Government. In making such a determination, GSA will consider cost factors including, but not limited to, the total cost of the physical move (including telecommunications and computer cabling costs); tenant improvement costs (whether included in the rent or compensated separately from the rent), and anticipated rent for the space. Other factors impacting the Government?s rights under a prospective lease, such as, the length of any firm term that may be required at an alternative location, length of time necessary to deliver occupancy-ready space, and the right to terminate any space vacated during the term, will also bear. Space must be located within the CBD of New Orleans, LA and be of Class A quality. Space must meet the Federal Government?s standards for fire safety and meeting the Government?s standards incorporated in the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard Space must be ready for occupancy on or before September 15, 2007. A lease term of three (3) is desired.
