Description

This requirement includes furnishing all labor, supervision, incidentals, materials, equipment, and transportation for cutting of designated trees, scattering of all slash, and chemical treatment of all stumps with a herbicide on approximately 49.04 acres in size. A site tour is tentatively planned for July 11, 2007. Vehicular access to the project area is available. (4WD is NOT required). All work shall be completed by October 1, 2007. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. It is also recommended that contractors register their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted on/about June 29, 2007. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". Response date for quotes will be on/about July 26, 2007. The exact closing date will be posted in the RFQ. This is set aside for Hub-Zone Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 115310 . The small business size standard is $6.5 million.
