Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to solicit and award a sole source, purchase order under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Colorado State Univerisity. Colorado State University (CSU), will facilitate and provide meeting facilities and audio-visual equipment rental; hourly wages for graduate student staff to record meeting notes and post/maintain the SRR website. CSU shall provide travel reimbursements/registration for non-federal participants. CSU shall work on the develoopment of Criteria and Indicators. The Criteria and Indicators is available only through the SSR associated with CSU. The SSR promotes social, ecological and economic sustainablitlty of rangelands through the development and widespread use of Criteria and Indicators for rangeland assessments, and by providing a forum for dialogue on sustainablity of rangelands. Any vendor interested in this requirement should submit clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the BLM requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all responses received by the response date stated above. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
