Description
This is a sources sought notice. The purpose of this announcement is to identify laboratories that have the capability to transfer and qualify an extisting Protein G ELISA. The Department of Defense (DoD), through the Chemical Biological Medical Sy stems (CBMS) Joint Vaccine Acquisition Program (JVAP) is seeking contractors capable of transferring an existing Protein G ELISA assay, qualifying that assay, and using that assay to assess antibody titer in human serum samples. The assay will evaluate th e human response to two different antigens. It is expected that 150-300 samples will be tested using the qualified assay. Testing shall be conducted using Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). The serum samples will be provided by the Government. This is no t a request for competitive proposals, however, parties interested in responding must furnish, in writing, a 1-2 pages synopsis of their capabilities and related past performance. Any information received in response to this sources sought notice that is marked proprietary will be handled accordingly. This information may be submitted via mail, email, or fax. All responses are to be submitted by not later than 13 July 2007 by 3:00PM EST in order to be accepted for review. All paperwork must be sent to U .S. This notice should not be construed as a request for proposals or an obliga tion on the part of the U.S. Government and cannot be accepted the Government to form a binding contract.
