Description

The purpose of this Sources Sought/Market Research is to identify potential sources capable of repair/overhaul of the Material Handling Crane for the Forward Repair System. This crane is manufactured by Grove U.S. L.L.C. The overhaul will include p erforming a diagnostic and inspection of the crane, preparing an itemized report detailing the recommended overhaul effort required, the contractor will be responsible for supplying all parts, materials and labor to repair and test the cranes. The perfor mance period for repairs will be 30 days from receipt of the crane, this includes procurement of needed parts. Firms capable of providing the above services can indicate their interest and receive additional information regarding these services by contac ting Alberta Simmons at alberta.simmons@us.army.mil. Your request must include Cage Code, Company Name, Address, Phone number, email address and a point of contact. This is a sources sought for planning purpose and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought or otherwise pay for information solicited. The information you provide will only be utilized by Rock Isla nd Arsenal in developing its acquisition approach for future requirements.
