- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Safford, Arizona intends to issue solicitation RFQ60902-053-7 for the requirements of: Quarterly Subsistence- Meat, Fish, Poultry Products. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery dates will begin July 1, 2007 and end July 30, 2007. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 1529 W. U.S. Hwy 366, Safford, Arizona 85546. The government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards. The government will award to the responsible quoter(s), whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, with price and past performance factors considered, price being rated 70% and past performance 30%. The solicitation will be made available on or after May 24, 2007 and will be distributed solely through this Government Point of Entry www.fedbizopps.gov . All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through this website. This website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most-up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The anticipated receipt of quotes is on or around June 6, 2007. All responsible small business sources are encouraged to submit a quotation, which will be considered for award. Faith-Based and Community Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible. Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR) database prior to any contract awards.
